Fur Season

Yes Folks, FUR SEASON is in full swing around this place. Human Mommy and Human Daddy spend their evenings brushing us or brushing the cats. All the little birds in the neighborhood should have nice soft nests by now.

Elvira, Boreas, and I are just glad that Our Human Mommy and Human Daddy don't try to make us look like one of these poor Poodles! Kenosha

Visit With the Little People

This has been an exciting month - so much has happened. First the Little People come for a visit. And then the BIG WIND blows through town. But you've already heard about that so, back to the Little People. Human Mommy and Human Daddy had a litter of three (but not at the same time - for some reason Humans don't have 'litters' like us DOGS. Their kids usually come along singly and stay around for 18 or more years. Not too sure I like that idea!). And the GIRL of the litter came to visit with her litter of kids. It was so much fun!


Kenosha especially had a blast! He would follow the oldest pup, oops! I mean Little Person, around everywhere she went. Those two were practically inseparable - except for when Kenosha got all tuckered out and had to take a nap. As for me, I was afraid that I might be called upon for diaper duty so I stuck around the house. (It's a 'MOM Thing') But I did get to go for a ride in the wagon. That was way cool!!


Kenosha and Boreas wanted to go for a ride too. But there wasn't any room for them and the GIRL said she wasn't sure she was strong enough to pull all of us anyway. (You know how BIG Boreas is getting...)


And then we would play fetch (kinda) with the oldest Little Person. She would pick up SweetGum balls and throw them and then Kenosha and I would 'chase' them. It was all a grand game.


But the BESTEST part was mealtime! Oh how messy those Little People could be. YUMMY!!! I especially liked it the night they had Spaghetti! I sure hope they come back for another visit soon. Elvira

Quick Update

We just wanted to let everyone know that we are all okay ~ Human Mommy, Human Daddy, all the CATS, and us. Please keep all those affected by the recent tornado in your thoughts and prayers.
