Cheyanne's S*N*O*W part 2

I wanted to give our readers a little more info about how special the SNOW was that Cheyanne got to play in. Cheyanne's Human Mommy has lived in her area of Southern California for almost 18 years and has never seen as much snow as they had gotten from the storm that went through this week. Truly a special Christmas gift! I hope you chased a few snowflakes for us Cheyanne! Kenosha & Elvira

Snow and School

I heard Human Mommy and Human Daddy talking about the weird weather everywhere this year. (I can't say winter because winter doesn't start until Sunday) And these pictures are proof that the weather patterns this year are definitely weird! Here's a picture of Cheyanne playing in the SNOW in Southern California! WOW! She said that they got a foot of the wonderful white stuff and she had so much FUN running around in it!

We had a quick note from Loveland. She sent us a picture of her and her Human Mommy and her first encounter with a Baby. It looks like both Loveland and the Baby are trying to figure out what the other one is. Loveland also said that she is trying to get into School (College, I think.) Wonder what kinda degree she's going to get?? And will we have to call her Dr. or Prof. when she's completed her course?? Keep us posted Loveland! Elvira

4 Wheelin'

We had so much fun this past weekend! Human Daddy has been working on his "Go to the Woods" car. And he finally got it done and we went to the woods! We all just LOVE to go for rides!! It doesn't matter where. As soon as Human Mommy or Human Daddy says 'Load Up', We're there!

(We were so excited that we wouldn't hold still for Human Mommy to take a picture of us)

We didn't go very far but it was still a lot of fun. Human Daddy took us up into the Ouachita Mountains where we live. We followed a Forest Service Road to the end. We even went down a couple roads that probably weren't roads and Human Daddy had to go in reverse to get back to the real road. Human Mommy was trying real hard not to squeal 'cause that makes Human Daddy nervous.

It was such a gray, dreary day but it didn't matter. We snuffed out the windows and got to smell all sorts of interesting things. And we bounced down some of the rough roads but it was all fun. We can hardly wait till we get to do it again!! Elvira

News From Home

You've been getting news from my brothers and sisters, so I thought it was about time I wrote and told everyone what I've been up to. I've gotten big (Human Mommy laughs when I say that. She says I've always been BIG!) since you last saw a picture of me. I am not far from being as tall as Mommy. I weighed 40 lbs. at three months. (And that was just two weeks ago.) Human Mommy says she'll be glad when I can jump into the car by myself. I try to tell her that it's good for her - it's like lifting weights. But she just snuggles my neck when I say that. I like to play tug with the rope and I try and chase 'skirrels' with Mommy but Mommy is so much better than me. Mommy is so quick and those 'skirrels' have to run and climb fast to escape her. Some day I want to run fast like Mommy and Daddy. Maybe, if I keep practicin'....

Human Mommy has been taking me for walks on a leash. She says I do real good. But I am not as good as Loveland - she's goin' to start school soon - probably get a degree and everything. She always was the smart one. Anyways, I've been having fun on the walks I go on with Human Mommy. We see all sorts of interesting things. Boreas

Remember Little Hoosier??

We had a quick note from Hoosier this week. He has grown quite a bit since he moved to California. He weighed 25 lb. at 10 weeks. Elvira and I are curious as to how much he now weighs at almost 14 weeks. The last two pictures are of him with one of his companions, Max, who weighs over 100 lbs. Kenosha
